Voilà ! Guirec a basculé dans l’hémisphère sud. Cette nuit à 3h50 heure française, il a coupé la latitude 0 du globe. C’est la première fois qu’il met si peu de temps à l’atteindre.
Cette étape marque le début d’un parcours qui va peu à peu se corser. En effet, jusqu’ici Guirec navigue toujours « à l’endroit » c’est après avoir longé le Brésil qu’il commencera à bifurquer à contresens d’un tour du monde à la voile « conventionnel ».
Il est encore loin, mais croisons déjà les doigts pour que le Cap Horn, le grand péage méridional, ouvre la voie aux étraves de l’Ultim MACSF.

Equator line in less than 10 days
Guirec is now in the southern hemisphere.
Last night at 3:50 a.m. French time, he crossed the latitude 0 of the globe. This is the first time he has taken so little time to reach it.
This stage marks the beginning of a journey that will gradually get tougher. Indeed, until now Guirec has always sailed "upright", it is after having skirted Brazil that he will begin to branch off in the opposite direction to the "conventional" way of rounding the world under sail.
It is still far away, but let's already cross our fingers that Cape Horn, the great southern toll, opens the way for the bows of the Ultim MACSF.
